Bennie Lewis Returns To Melbourne

Lewis_Tigers

Melbourne United have signed swingman Bennie Lewis JR as an injury replacement for David Barlow.

Lewis last played in the NBL in 2013 when he won the 2012-13 NBL slam dunk competition in Adelaide. That season he averaged a little under 4 points per game for the then Melbourne Tigers.

Since his time in the NBL Lewis has gone on to play in the D-League, BBL (British Basketball League) and the SEABL.

David Barlow sustained a achilles and sat out the entire 2015-16 season. Thought to be career ending at the time, there is currently no timetable for Barlow to return to the court.

Are the Tigers going to become an offensive team this year???? About time if we could NBL to improve the average winning score of every team by 20 points we might get even larger crowds.....:)
