Gold Coast Blaze leave the NBL

Published on July 17, 2012 by   ·   No Comments

Some sad news today about the Gold Coast Blaze..

The Gold Coast Blaze owners, Katie & Owen Tomlinson have decided withdraw their bid to stay in the NBL for 2012-13, as reported by Gold Coast Bulletin journo Daniel Meers via Twitter:

Former Blaze players – Adam Gibson, Anthony Petrie, Mark Worthington & Chris Goulding are all seeking new deals.

Worthington rumoured to be going overseas & Gibson rumoured to be close to signing with Adelaide. Goulding & Petrie’s status is still unknown. But the 36ers, Hawks & Breakers have all shown interest on some level. Daniel Dillon also committed to the team and is in advanced talks with another NBL team as we speak.
