Action Jackson returns to the Breakers

Published on August 3, 2012 by   ·   No Comments

The NZ Breakers have announced that they have re-signed Cedric “Action”  Jackson for the 2012-13 season.

Jackson played last season for the Breakers, leading them to the 2011-12 championship  and had an MVP type season. He averaged 12.8 ppg, 5.4rpg, 6.5apg (lead the league) and 2.2spg (also lead the league). Jackson also picked up All-NBL first team honours but was snubbed for defensive player of the year.

During the off season Jackson tried to make a NBA roster again, but after failing to secure a spot has decided to return to the Breakers, who are now in prime position to three peat. The first time since the Sydney Kings in the early 00′s.

Jackson joins his old team mates: CJ Bruton, Alex Pledger, Mika Vukona, Tom Abercrombie, Leon Henry & Dillon Boucher. As well as new comer Will Hudson.

Expect some more of this..
