Hawks Sign Import Kevin Tiggs

The Wollongong Hawks have signed 6 foot 5 import Kevin Tiggs for the remainder of the season.

Tiggs comes in to replace Summers who left the team 2 weeks ago after a contract dispute.

Kevin graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2009, after which he played around the world including France, Cyprus and the Ukraine.

Last season whilst playing for Hoverla Ivano-Frankivsk in the Ukraine he averaged 10.1 ppg, 4.3 rpg and 1.5 spg in 18 games.

Tiggs can shoot the 3 and rebound but he perhaps best known for his athletic ability.

The Hawks are hoping to have Tiggs cleared by this weekend when they face the Adelaide 36ers, but at very latest he will be ready for round 3.
