Jarrad Week’s First NBL Dunk

So far one of the biggest surprise plays of the 2013-14 would have to be the dunk by former Sydney Kings development player Jarrad Weeks.

In round 3 against the Perth Wildcats Weeks managed to get out on the fast break and throw a sneaky dunk down, what’s more impressive is he had Tom Jervis trailing him, ready to pounce at any time.

After the game he spoke to Tom Read from ATF about his first ever NBL dunk.

“It felt great, got the crowd going, anything to help the team going,” said Weeks.

“I tried one when I was a development player in my first year, but got it stripped off me. I heard the footsteps coming behind me, If I didn’t dunk it, it was going to get blocked.”
